Privacy Policy
What the ECEUH website and Android app collect, how it's used, and the third-party services that hold any of it. Kept short and plain.
ECEUH ("we", "our", or "the app") is a free study resource for University of Houston ECE students. Both the website and the Android app share this policy.
Information We Collect
If you create an account, we collect your email address and a username you choose. That's it. The account is used solely to save your course progress across devices.
Account creation is optional — every course hub, file library, professor profile, and external resource is fully usable without signing in. Anonymous usage stores nothing on our servers.
How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with anyone other than the service providers below who store it on our behalf.
Third-Party Services
We use Supabase to handle authentication and store progress data. We use Vercel Analytics to collect aggregate page-view counts with no personally identifiable information. We use Cloudflare R2 to serve PDF files; their CDN may log standard request metadata (IP, user-agent) for delivery and abuse prevention.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your account and all data tied to it (email, username, progress) are stored as long as the account exists. See Delete Account for the exact steps and timeline — all associated data is removed within 7 days of a deletion request.
Children's Privacy
ECEUH is intended for college students aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Permissions Used by the Android App
The app uses only the standard permissions needed to display the website and download files. It does not request access to your contacts, location, microphone, camera, or photo library.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes in a material way, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised and a notice will be posted in the app on next launch.
